Clear Sky, a charity who deliver specialist Play and Creative Arts therapy and provide CPD to professionals, schools and parents, have put together a fabulous free resource, the ‘Parents Play Kit’. It includes a host of resources and ideas for parents to help support their child’s emotional wellbeing throughout the Coronavirus pandemic.
Clear Sky Director, Anna Hodgson says, “with children’s mental health being at the forefront of what we do, we are absolutely delighted to have produced the Parents Play Kit to help the parent and child relationship throughout these extremely challenging times. In the book you will find a variety of play therapy techniques, ranging from arts and crafts to movement and mindfulness games, that parents can utilise within their own home. These tools support with communication and help children process challenging feelings. The resource is aimed at children aged 4-11.”
Clear Sky would like the resource to be accessible to every child and family, so the resource is offered free of charge to anyone who wants to read it. However, the charity has suggested that families might make a donation to help fund vital services that Clear Sky deliver. https://www.justgiving.com/clearsky
