Last weekend saw the final of Charity Today’s Awards for 2019 and we travelled up to Peterborough to celebrate, amongst the final 36 charities who had been shortlisted in this year’s awards.
Clear Sky were finalists in the ‘Charity of the Year’ category, at the event which saw an initial pool of 675 entries! We were up against some stiff competition; our fellow shortlisted nominees being The Suzy Lamplugh Trust, Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice and Brake, the road death’s charity.
Unfortunately we didn’t take home the big trophy on the night, but were really humbled to receive our ‘Highly Commended’ certificate; testament to the great work we do here at Clear Sky and more importantly, recognising the hard work and effort of the whole team.
Our congratulations to Noah’s Ark Hospice for their well deserved win, and thanks to Charity Today for organising and hosting a wonderful event, marking the great work done in our sector!
